First Award: presented June 25, 2010 (for the 2009-10 academic year)

Life of Award: The duration of the Endowment (Currently expected annually for 20 years)

Eligibility & Application Information

Eligible students must:
Be a Canadian Citizen; or a Permanent Resident;
Be a Graduating Student of KVHS
Have been accepted into a Post-Secondary Creative or Performing Arts Program, as defined by the Scholarship and Awards Committee
Participate in extra-curricular activities
Demonstrate overall excellence in their academic and creative work;
Be nominated by Faculty/ Scholarship selection committee

Selection Criteria and Administration
The selection committee will be comprised of representatives from the Scholarships and Awards Committee, Kennebecasis Valley High School (KVHS). KVHS will make the final selection of the recipient(s). If in the opinion of the selection committee no applicants met the outlined criteria, the award shall not be given to any applicant that year.

In the event that additional funds are secured (greater than the above outlined endowment), the committee shall determine whether increasing the amount of the award or granting additional recipients is the most effective mechanism for distribution.
